BKV Operations Updates – Sendera Ranch

BKV plans to perform re-stimulation and well maintenance operations on several wells located in the Sendera Ranch neighborhood in north Fort Worth. At the end of April, our team began working to prepare the locations for the upcoming operations at our Morris Harmonson location. Re-stimulation of natural gas wells in the Barnett Shale is a standard best practice of our development plans. We leverage state-of-the-art technology to “re-stimulate” existing wells for increased production and maximum well efficiency. During this time, and always, safety is our top priority. Employees and contractors are held to a high standard and required to comply with all safety rules and regulations. In addition, we are closely adhering to the requirements provided by the City of Fort Worth Oil & Gas ordinance, as well as other local operations regulations, and are committed to partnering with the neighbors to ensure everyone’s safety.

We will update this site with information regarding current and upcoming re-stimulation projects in Sendera Ranch.

Project Details

Below are specific details regarding BKV’s re-stimulation operations at the Morris Harmonson pad location north of Avondale Haslet Road (as soon on the map).

  • BKV’s increased activity is temporary and is planned to conclude early June.

  • Hours of operation will be limited to between the hours of 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday - Saturday, and no operation hours on Sunday.

  • Temporary walls have been constructed on the wellsite location to reduce the sound coming from the location. These walls will be removed upon completion of this project.

  • All trucks will enter and depart this location from an existing BKV lease road to minimize the impact on local community traffic.

  • BKV has partnered with a local security company to monitor the location. An unarmed security guard will be on site from 6 pm – 6 am during re-stimulation (currently targeted for May 25 -27) to serve as a watchman and to ensure that only appropriate personnel have access to the area outside of normal operations hours.

  • At the conclusion of the project, normal day-to-day operations will resume.
